BLD Cat City – all skills competitions will take place at BLD Cat City
BLD Cat City – 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U will play both pool play and bracket play at this facility
BLD Perris – 13U, 14U and HS ages will play both pool play and bracket play at this facility
All fields are natural surface fields.
Schedule & Playing Time FAQ

There is always a chance that a change to the schedule may occur. We will communicate any changes with everyone involved via email, text and USSSA app notifications if there are any changes to the event schedule.
Team managers will reach out to everyone with the plan for their team and when they would like for everyone to arrive.
While there is not a scheduled meet and greet for the players we would love to have everyone come out Friday night and even if they choose not to participate in skills come out and enjoy the fun.
There are practice slots available that we will offer to managers once we have the process lined out that BLD would like for us to follow.

Yes, IF a player put there primary or secondary position as pitcher on the registration form they will have the opportunity to pitch.

Roster FAQ
Rosters are built with the intention of teams having enough pitchers and catcher to compete in the event. More often than not the biggest complaint that we hear after the completion of an event of this type from managers is that they did not have enough pitching to compete in the event.
Roster sizes also ensure that when players no show we do not have to break up a team mid event and change everyones schedule.

We have done our best to combat this by ensuring there are adequate number of players on each team.
Skills Competition FAQ
BLD Cat City – all ages will compete in skills competitions at this location
Friday, December 27th – 2:30PM to 8:00PM
BLD Cat City Fenway – Golden Arm and Fastest Man for all ages
BLD Cat City Yankee – Home Run Derby for 13U, 14U & HS
BLD Cat City Pawtucket – Home Run Derby for 11U & 12U
BLD Cat City Wrigley – Home Run Derby for 8U, 9U & 10U
BLD Cat City Des Moines – Home Run Derby for 8U, 9U & 10U
Using the field assignments above you are free to visit the field that your age is assigned to. Example: if you are a 9U player you can hit in the Home Run Derby on either Wrigley or Des Monies, all golden arm and fastest man will take place on Fenway.
Players must be checked in by 6:30PM in order to participate. Players are free to come and go as they please after they have competed in their skills.
Registration deadline is December 24th @ 5:00PM PST
NO. All players must register online.
L-Screen can be moved to desired location on field. There is not a set distance.
Pitchers are free to throw overhand or underhand for the Home Run Derby.
NO. Players must provide their own pitcher.
Pitcher must be an adult of at least 18 years of age.
Players are free to crow hop, step and throw, etc. There will be a line at which they must release the ball behind. The player will start with the ball, it will NOT be thrown or rolled to them.

Managers will have all player jerseys and hats with them to be passed out on Saturday before their first game?
There is no player check in and managers will have the jerseys for their teams.
Other FAQ
Player profiles are updated on www.usssa.com via your guardian account. If you need help accessing your account email [email protected]
The positions listed on a player profile do not pull from the registration website. That information must be changed via the guardian account.
Managers have been supplied rosters with the positions selected when a player registered. The positions listed on USSSA.com have no meaning for the event in terms of playing positions.
Team managers will be reaching out to everyone to confirm they are attending the event and introduce themselves.
All teams will have managers at the event. We understand this may not be the case at other events but all teams at this event will have a manager.
There will not be any live streaming of games at this years event. It is in the works for next year.
No. Teams may choose to start a team game changer but we will not have staff on hand to run game changer for every game.
Music is allowed at the facilities but must be played at reasonable level and not disturb play on other fields. If this becomes an issue we will ban all music for the event.
No, there are no parking fees for the event.

Yes. If you registered as a catcher you will need to bring catchers gear.
