All players who register for the 2026 California All State Championships are eligible to participate in the skills competitions. There is no longer an additional fee to register for these events. Skills Competitions will take place on January 2nd from 10:00AM to 5:00PM. Players are free to come and go during this time frame and can report to the field to participate in whichever skills competitions they choose.
Field Assignments will be posted at a later date once we have a completed the registration process and have a better idea of the staff that will be needed to keep things running smoothly.

HOME RUN DERBY
- Players will receive 12 pitches. Every pitch counts towards the total number of pitches whether the batter swings or takes the pitch. The player will receive only 12 pitches.
- Player must provide their own pitcher and the pitcher must be an adult.
- Home Run Distance
- 6U – 8U: 100’
- 9U – 10U: 125’
- 11U – 12U: 175’
- 13U – 14U: 225’
- 15U – 18U: 275′
FASTEST MAN
- Fastest Man Rules: Fastest time 40 yard dash!
- All players who participate will run two (2) laser timed 40 yard dashes!
- If laser timer is not working athletes will be timed by event staff on a handheld timer.
GOLDEN ARM
- 5 Throws at a Socknet
- Hit the net 1 point
- Hit the net in the air 2 points
- Stays in the sock net from air 5 points.

IF ALL TIE BREAKERS HAVE BEEN EXHAUSTED AND THERE ARE STILL TIES REMAINING, A TIME AND LOCATION WILL BE SCHEDULED ON SUNDAY FOR THE TIED ATHLETES TO COMPETE AGAIN.
